About the Event
The best-preserved Paracas textiles have been found inside mummy bundles and are therefore called “funerary mantles”. These textiles include many complex-weaving techniques as well as elaborate plaiting and knotting. The textiles are brightly coloured and they show evidence of both design and style worthy of an hour of deep diving into these extra ordinary creations.
