About the Event
Gifted beautiful and rebellious, Lee Miller’s career took her from the fashion pages of
Vogue as one of the most sought after models of the 1920s, to the front line of the
Second World War. Her work behind the camera- first as a Surrealist photographer and
later as a war correspondent- expanded the boundaries of photographic expression and
she quickly became a leading figure in avant garde scenes of London, Paris and Cairo .
